Repeater Links
The first and most important thing I want to say is a huge thank you to
all the repeater groups around the world. Most of these groups fund the
costs out of their own pockets. If you use a repeater regularly, try
and find out who runs it and send them a donation. They really will
appreciate it.
I spend a lot of my time running a mobile station and
use repeaters in UK, France, Belgium and Holland. Below are
some links to help you find repeaters especially if you are hunting a
bit VHF DX. In good lift conditions the resultant interference
can either be seen as a nuisance or a great opportunity.

I
have been informed by Geoff G8SPG that GB3PE in Peterborough is now back on the air.
This repeater has been sorely missed and I look forward to
checking access very soon. Assuming this news is true may I take this
opportunity to thank the person or persons responsible for the repairs.
Latest. Latest, Yep its true, GB3PE has risen from the ashes and is back on air. 17/08/08

I
reported here that GB3PI was now a D star repeater, this was
incorrect. The Chairman of the Cambridgeshire Repeater Group has
pointed out the error of my ways for which I am grateful and in these
days of grovelling apologiesfor fear of being sued, I proffer
said apology to the Cambridgeshire Repeater Group.
The correct information is as follows
The Cambridgeshire Repeater Group have licenced and installed GB7PI, a GMSK
Regenerative Node, at Barkway on the same site as GB3PI. It’s current operating
frequency is 439.9125Mhz (-6MHz input shift), and uses the JARL D-STAR standard
for GMSK vocoded voice and data communications.
